KENT, Ohio —Parents and Families Weekend is full of firsts for the Kent State volleyball team, which opens its host schedule with the Golden Flashes Classic. The Golden Flashes will be the first team to play a regular season contest on the new M.A.C. Center floor that was installed this past summer, and Friday's match will be Kent State Athletics' first ESPN3 broadcast.
Kent State (1-5) takes on Butler in a 6 p.m. match Friday and concludes the weekend Sunday against College of Charleston at 12 p.m. The Bulldogs and Cougars will play each other at 4 p.
