Kent State Track and Field Kicks Off Outdoor Season

The Kent State track and field teams kick off the outdoor season traveling to West Virginia University to compete in the Stan Romanoski Open on Saturday, Mar. 20 inside the Mylan Park Track & Field Complex.

Competition begins on Saturday with the hammer throw at 10 a.m. Javelin will be the last field event and is scheduled to get underway at 4 p.m. The women's 5000-meter run kicks off the running events getting time on the track starting at 2 p.m. Competition will come to a close on Saturday with the men's 4x400-meter relay at 6:55 p.m.

Kent State selected twelve athletes to travel to Morgantown to compete in the Stan Romanoski Open.
