KENT, Ohio – Kent State (11-6) continued to improve its record this weekend as it took down Lock Haven (9-6) on Saturday afternoon by a score of 2-1.
The Flashes struck first 24:06 into the game. After an initial corner play, Kortney Keller slid a pass over to Silvia Figa Malgosa who found the back of the net for a 1-0 lead. In the second half, another corner opportunity set up a Flashes score. Laila Richter had a sweep from the top of the circle that Alexis Madeira perfectly executed a re-direction on for the goal.
