CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Kent State softball program swept this week's Mid-American Conference East Division honors, as sophomore Bailey Brownfield was named Player of the Week and senior Ronnie Ladines was named Pitcher of the Week.
Brownfield continued the hot start by batting .636 with four doubles and three RBIs over five games. She slugged 1.000 and drew five walks for a .750 on-base percentage to extend her reached-base streak to 14 games. Brownfield reached base in all six of her plate appearances on Friday, which included a 1-for-1 performance vs.
