AKRON, Ohio —Kent State claimed titles in both the men's and women's discus throw as the Northeast Ohio Quad concluded with throwing events on Saturday at Lee R. Jackson Field.
Trevor Detillion unleashed the fifth-furthest mark in Golden Flashes history with a throw of 185'-8" to claim his sixth discus title in the past two seasons. Detillion dominated the event with all five of his legal throws going further than any other competitor.
In the women's discus, Gabby Bailey earned her first collegiate victory with a throw of 168'-3".
