KENT, Ohio — For the second weekend in a row, weather forecasts have forced changes to the Kent State softball team's schedule.
The Golden Flashes' Mid-American Conference series against Ball State has been shortened to just two games. The teams will play a doubleheader at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 17 at 1 p.m.
It was announced last week that the series has been moved to the BW Softball Field in Berea due to ongoing renovations on Devine Diamond. Located at 7220 Pleasant Avenue, the BW Softball Field is the first and only all-turf softball field in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
