KENT, Ohio- The Kent State soccer team opens up their home slate of the 2025 season on Sunday, facing-off against the Duquesne University Dukes at Zoeller Field at Dix Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

The Golden Flashes won their season-opener on the road on Thursday night, defeating Cleveland State by a score of 1-0. It was a strong defensive outing for the Blue and Gold, holding the Vikings to no shots on goal and just three shots overall.
KSU scored the only goal of the game in the 25th-minute thanks to a goal from junior midfielder Samantha Miller, who was assisted by Junior forward Kiyomi McCausland.
