KENT, Ohio – The Kent State University softball team will face one of the most-challenging non-conference slates in program history, as head coach Eric Oakley announced the team's 2017 schedule on Thursday.
The two-time defending Mid-American Conference regular season champions are scheduled for 56 contests, which includes 11 home games at the Diamond at Dix and a 24-game conference season. The Golden Flashes will visit eight states out of Ohio, stretching from California on the West Coast to Florida in the southeastern part of the country.
The non-conference portion of the schedule is highlighted by 10 games vs.
