CINCINNATI, Ohio — The Kent State track and field program concluded a busy opening weekend to the outdoor season at the Oliver Nikoloff Open on Saturday. The Golden Flashes earned seven event titles on the day.
The men's team accounted for five of the victories, including four field events. Trevor Detillion and captured the discus throw title with a top mark of 171'-0" to place fourth in the event. Douglas Moorer, Jr. was right behind with a top throw of 167'-7" for a runner-up finish.
