KENT: With his team coming off its worst loss of the season, Kent State men’s basketball coach Rob Senderoff said winning Saturday’s home game against Toledo isn’t a luxury — it’s practically a necessity.
The Golden Flashes (15-7, 6-3 Mid-American Conference) fell 88-61 at Central Michigan on Tuesday, marking both their most lopsided loss and just the second time this season they’ve lost consecutive games. That setback came on the heels of a 72-61 loss at Ohio on Jan. 29.
“We got it handed to us on Tuesday,” Senderoff said. “We don’t want to make it a habit to build on a losing streak.
