Kent State holds Bowling Green under 50 points

Kent State’s women’s basketball team held Bowling Green to just over 31 percent shooting in its 61-47 win Wednesday. The Falcons shot just over 45 percent which is second best in the Mid-American Conference.

Bowling Green (9-13, 1-8 MAC) averages 73 points per game, but the Flashes’ (12-8, 5-4 MAC) defense were able to hold the Falcons to just 28 points in the first half and 19 points in the second.
