INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA has released its annual Graduation Success Rate (GSR) and Federal Graduation Rate (FGR) report, with Kent State athletics continuing its run of success in the classroom.
The Golden Flashes maintained a high academic standard and raised the bar, improving from an 83 percent to 86 percent for the 2010 cohort. . Four different teams at Kent State held a perfect 100 percent, in baseball, field hockey women's golf and gymnastics.
"As our general student population continues to raise the bar academically, our student-athletes are rising to challenge," said Associate Athletics Director for Academic Services Angie Hull.
