KENT: Both teams have losing records, but there’s a clear difference between where Miami and Kent State stand entering their game in Oxford at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
Although winless this season, the RedHawks (0-6, 0-2 Mid-American Conference) have won more games and MAC titles than any other team in conference history. Miami is coming off a 35-13 loss to Akron and is two weeks removed from a 17-7 loss to Ohio.
Meanwhile, the Golden Flashes (2-4, 1-1) will travel to Oxford with a chance to bring home a winning conference record. They’re coming off a 44-20 win over Buffalo, the team’s largest margin of victory this season.
