KENT: Kent State University has extended the contract for men’s basketball coach Rob Senderoff through the 2021-22 season.
“Rob and his staff have continued the outstanding basketball tradition at Kent State,” university Director of Athletics Joel Nielsen said in a prepared statement. “This extension represents our commitment to the men’s basketball program as they seek even higher levels of accomplishments in the upcoming years. Winning championships and graduating student-athletes, Rob has certainly delivered.”
Kent State won the Mid-American Conference Championship last season and the Golden Flashes returned to the NCAA Tournament. The team finished 22-14.
