The Kent State club hockey team is (10-2) swept Slippery Rock this weekend, but coach Jim Underwood was not happy with the teams’ performance.
The Flashes won 4-2 at home Friday against SRU, and coach Underwood had some critical comments about his teams’ play.
“I challenge my players to play a full 60-minute hockey game,” Underwood said. “Right now, we have yet to play a complete hockey game. We are very good in different spurts, but we really lack the intensity to finish games off. Our grade overall was a C at best.”
Goaltender Tyler Geloneck helped his team hold off Slippery Rock by allowing only two goals Friday night.
