Every year, college basketball programs lose players to graduation, entering the NBA Draft or transferring to another school. Usually that consists of a small handful of players, but Kent State men’s basketball coach Rob Senderoff is trying to figure out how to replace seven players from a team that went 19-13.
The Flashes will feature 11 new players, eight of whom who joined the program over the summer, meaning Senderoff will spend the majority of the first half of the season just trying to figure out who are his five best players.
“When you bring back four, five or six guys you sort of have an idea of what they can bring and then a guy has to make a jump,” Senderoff said.
