INDIANAPOLIS – Kent State Athletics tied its department record for its Graduation Success Rate (GSR), as the NCAA released data for the 2016-17 cohort on Wednesday.
The Golden Flashes earned a GSR score of 90 for the for the second year in a row. Seven different teams at Kent State – women's basketball, gymnastics, men's golf, women's golf, softball, women's cross country/track, and volleyball - posted a perfect 100%.
"Kent State Athletics has continued a strong tradition and commitment to graduating student-athletes, boldly prepared for life after sport, said Senior Associate Athletic Director Kelly Jean Brock.
