CLEVELAND – For the third time this season, Kent State freshman Veronika Kedronova has been named Mid-American Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced on Thursday.
Kedronova shot a one-over 217 to finish tied for fourth at the Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational and lead the Golden Flashes to a sixth-place finish in the final regular season competition. The freshman shot a first-round 70 and held the top individual score through 18 holes. Kedronova played the second round even and in the third round, carded a 75.
Kent State will seek its 25th consecutive MAC title at the conference championship this weekend.
