KENT, OHIO- Kent State offensive lineman Daniel Johnson has been named to the 2020 Rimington Award Watch List, given annually to the top center in the nation.
The redshirt sophomore stepped into a starting role on the Golden Flashes' offensive line midway through last season and never looked back. The London, Ontario, Canada native helped to solidify the line and the team went 4-0 in his starts. The offense ran for 100 or more yards in each of his four starts and topped 250 in each of the final three. He is one of seven Mid-American Conference centers that made the watch list.
