Jagers Earns First Team All-American Honors to Wrap Up T&F Championship

EUGENE, Oregon- Kent State's Reggie Jagers III finished seventh in the men's discus final, earning First Team All-American honors at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon on Friday, June 10.

Jagers, a redshirt junior, recorded a best mark of 59.56m (195' 5") to secure the seventh spot at the championship. With his seventh place finish, Jagers becomes the first, First Team All-American in the men's discus in Kent State track and field program history. This is the third time Jagers has garnered All-American honors, as he was named Honorable Mention All-American in 2013 and 2014.
