NORMAN, Okla.- Kent State University men's golfers Ian Holt, Chase Johnson, and Bjarki Petursson have been named Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Wednesday.
Senior 2018 MAC Golfer of the Year Ian Holt was honored for holding a 3.212 GPA as a business management major. In his last year at Kent, Holt finished the season ranked 32nd in the nation with two tournament wins (The Gopher Invitational and Mid-American Conference Championship). A 2018 All-MAC First Teamer, his scoring average of 71.
