NORMAN, Okla. – Kent State University men's golfers Ian Holt and Chase Johnson have been named Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
The 2017 MAC Golfer of the Year Ian Holt was honored for holding a 3.325 GPA as a business management major. Holt finished the season ranked 68th in the nation and holds one tournament win at the Cleveland State Invitational. His scoring average of 71.54 is the third best mark of all-time at Kent State. He's also recorded three rounds of 65 this season, a first in program history.
