CLEVELAND, Ohio – Kent State soccer sophomore defender Sierra Henderson-Muschett has been named Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.
Henderson-Muschett scored her second goal of the season in Kent State's dominating 3-0 win over Akron. She received a corner kick in front of the net and put it home to cap off the night's scoring. It was the seventh consecutive win against the Zips, and the Kent State soccer team continued its streak of never losing a point in the Crystal Clinic Wagon Wheel Challenge.
