Kent, Ohio – The Kent State gymnastics team will travel to Morgantown, West Virginia to compete in the West Virginia Tri this Sunday, January 27. The Golden Flashes will take on West Virginia University and George Washington.
The Flashes are coming off a second place finish at the UIC Quad, where the team won the uneven bars with three individuals finishing in the top five of the event. Senior team captain Dara Williams won the individual vault title with a score of 9.750 and tied for fifth place on bars.
Kent State heads into the 2019 season with a young squad, including eight freshmen.
