The Kent State gymnastics team heads to the University of Iowa this weekend to compete in the 2016 NCAA Gymnastics Iowa City Regional. The action from Carver-Hawkeye Arena kicks-off at 4:00pm CT/ 5:00pm ET on Saturday, April 2nd.
The Golden Flashes who finished 30th in the country in terms of regional qualifying score (195.595), are one of six teams set compete in the Iowa City Regional. The other five teams in attendance will be #1 Oklahoma, #12 Nebraska, #13 Arkansas, #19 Iowa, and #35 Central Michigan.
Kent State's last regional appearance as a team was in 2014, when they took part in the NCAA Central Regional in Baton Rouge, La.
