INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Kent State gymnastics team was selected to compete in the NCAA Iowa Gymnastics Regional as announced by the NCAA on Monday, March 21st. All regional competitions will take place on Saturday, April 2nd at their respective locations.
Kent State finished the year at 10-4 (6-0 MAC), with a regional qualifying score of 195.595, which ranked second in the Mid-American Conference. The Flashes captured the MAC regular season title, going undefeated against conference opponents and finished fifth at the MAC Tournament Championships.
The 30th ranked Golden Flashes will be joined in Iowa by #1 Oklahoma, #12 Nebraska, #13 Arkansas, #19 Iowa (host), and fellow MAC competitor #35 Central Michigan.
