Gymnastics Goes 1-1 in Tri-meet to End Regular Season

WASHINGTON D.C. – The Kent State gymnastics team went 1-1 in a tri-meet with George Washington and Yale on Sunday, March 13th to close out the 2016 regular season. The Golden Flashes put up a team score of 195.275 to defeat the Bulldogs (191.775), but fell short to Colonials (195.400).

Results

The Flashes scored 48.400 (vault), 48.800 (bars), 49.000 (beam), 49.075 (floor), to comprise their team score of 195.275. With the second place finish, the Flashes finish the regular season with a record of 10-4 (6-0 MAC).

Kent began the day on the floor exercise, led by junior Jordan Hardison's 9.
