KENT, Ohio – Kent State's gymnastics team posted a score of 195.150 to start off the 2016 season with a victory over Temple, who finished with a score of 188.450, Sunday, January 10th inside the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center.
Kent State moves to 1-0 on the season as the Golden Flashes posted team scores of 48.575 (vault), 49.125 (bars), 48.425 (beam) and a 49.025 (floor) for their total of 195.150.
Temple falls to 0-2 on the season as they posted team scores of 47.125 (vault), 47.450 (bars), 46.800 (beam) and a 47.
