CLEVELAND, Ohio – After tying for the national lead with 13 RBIs on the opening weekend at the Mercer Invitational, Maddy Grimm has been named Mid-American Conference East Division Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon. It is the eighth time she has been recognized by the conference during her illustrious collegiate career.
Grimm moved into tie for fifth in MAC history after her staggering 13-RBI performance. She blasted a pair of 3-run homers and added a double to set a new career-high with 7 RBIs in Saturday night's win over Murray State.
