Golden Flashes Place 14 on WCGA Scholastic All-American Award

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Kent State gymnastics team finished with the 23rd-highest team GPA according to the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA).

"We are extremely proud of our team and how they excel in the classroom," said Head Coach Brice Biggin. "They received great academic support and are very conscientious of the importance of their education."

The Golden Flashes earned a 3.6038 team GPA and had 14 WCGA Scholastic All-America Award winners, who are student-athletes with 3.5 overall grade point average or a 3.5 grade point average for 2018-19.

Kent State ranked fourth in the Mid-American Conference and had nearly 67 percent of the team receive an award.
