The Kent State field hockey team (3-9, 2-2 MAC) prepares for a Mid-American Conference contest against Miami on Friday, Oct. 13 at 1 p.m. and then celebrate the 2023 senior class on Sunday, Oct. 15 against Lock Haven at 12 p.m.

This past weekend, Patricia Strunk secured the tying goal against App State early in the second quarter to lead the Flashes into double overtime and a shootout. Kent State led 11-7 in shots on goal and 7-2 in corners. On Sunday, the Flashes fell 3-0 No. 7 Ohio State.
