TOLEDO, Ohio — Behind senior Jordan Korinek's 30 points and 11 rebounds, Kent State went on the road and earned a 62-55 victory to snap host Toledo's 15-game home winning streak in a Mid-American Conference contest Wednesday night.
Graduate student McKenna Stephens just missed a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds for the Golden Flashes (10-10, 3-5 MAC) in the wire-to-wire triumph.
Kent State used the free throw line to its advantage, making a season-best 30 shots on 38 attempts. Korinek shot 17-for-18 to match Toledo's attempts as a team.
