KENT – The Kent State University Athletic Department is excited to announce a two-year enhanced partnership with Team IMPACT, building on a partnership that started in 2018.
Team IMPACT pairs children facing serious illnesses and disabilities with college athletic programs. Since 2018, Team IMPACT has placed four children with the Golden Flashes, starting first with the field hockey program and adding men's basketball, gymnastics and football over the next four years. Team IMPACT's young members officially match and sign with their respective teams for two years and participate in many team activities, including competitions, practices, and other team events.
