Goal on Final Play Hands Flashes 3-2 Victory at Pacific

STOCKTON, Calif. – With the clock reading zero, Kent State (4-1) capitalized on a penalty corner to take down Pacific (0-2) in a 3-2 match where the Golden Flashes got stronger as the game continued.

Despite leading the Tigers 8-1 in shots during the opening 35 minutes, Pacific made its one shot count to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.

Ten minutes into the second half Alison Harmatz tied the game on a shot into the bottom corner on a breakaway opportunity. Silvia Figa Malgosa gave the Flashes a 2-1 lead shortly after as she placed a deflection into the back of the net.
