CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced on Thursday that Kent State's Jordan Gilkison has been named the Co-MAC Men's Golfer of the Week. It marks the fourth time the senior has earned the award this season.
Gilkison earned his fourth top-five finish of the season at the Robert Kepler Invitational last weekend, tying for fifth place in the event. The senior shot even-par rounds of 71 in rounds one and three to improve his season tally of rounds of par or better to a team-high 21.
Gilkison will look to take his good form into the MAC Championship, which begins on Sunday, April 27 at Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City, Ohio.
