CLEVELAND, Ohio – Kent State libero Challen Geraghty has been named Mid-American Conference East Division Defensive Player of the Week for the final week of the season, the league office announced Monday afternoon. This is the fourth weekly accolade for the junior, who has earned the award seven times during her collegiate career.
Geraghty led a Golden Flashes defense that averaged nearly 22 digs per set on the final weekend of the regular season with a team-best 6.62 digs per set and was perfect in 66 service receptions.
