Four Flashes Score on Friday at MAC Indoor Championships

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The Kent State women's indoor track and field team had three athletes score points for the team standing and one athlete qualify back for finals on day 1 of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Leah Pasqualetti led the Golden Flashes with a championship effort, winning the pole vault title on misses with a height of 13' 7.75" for 10 points. Samantha Ice earned a bronze medal, clearing 12' 6" for a new personal best and another six points in the team standings for Kent State.

Sarena Choi added four points with a fifth-place finish in the long jump, breaking 19' for the second time this season and finishing with a mark of 19' 0.
