Kent State Track & Field was in action this past weekend at the MAC championship in Ypsilanti, Michigan on the campus of Eastern Michigan this weekend. The weekend proved to be a fruitful one for some members of the team, as four Flashes finished in first place in their respective events and 30 members of the team finished in the top five of their events.
The first day of the tournament was Saturday, a day in which the Flashes had two participants come in first place in their events. Danniel Thomas continued her storybook season by finishing in first in shot put with a throw of 18.
