#1 Alabama is proving to everyone why they are the number one team in the country, as they are up on Kent State 41-0 at halftime.
Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts made his presence known in the first half, he threw for 121 yards and ran for 45 yards and a touchdown before being replaced by Blake Barnett halfway through the second quarter. Barnett was 3-5 for 54 yards and a touchdown in the first half.
Kent State's offense has not been able to muster much against Alabama's swarming defense. Freshman Justin Rankin has rushed for 50 yards, almost all of which came on a 47 yard run, which was the Flashes first play from scrimmage.
