KENT- A trio of Golden Flashes were named Academic-All District for their work on the field and in the classroom as announced by the College Sports Communicators on Tuesday afternoon.
George is a hospitality management major with a 3.77 grade-point average. A two-year long snapper for the Flashes, he has helped a special teams unit limit opponents to one-yard per punt return in MAC play.
Marcellus Marshall is a construction management major with a 3.65 grade-point average. Marshall has stepped into a starting role on the offensive line in the 2022 season. With Marshall on the line, the Flashes are a top-25 team in the FBS at 201 yards per game and the MAC's top rushing attack.
