Flashes Wrap up Regular Season at Murphy-Mellis Field

KENT, Ohio- The Kent State University field hockey team (10-7, 5-0 MAC) is set to wrap up Mid-American Conference play, hosting Longwood at Murphy-Mellis Field at noon. Saturday's game will also serve as Kent State's Senior Day with recognition of the team's eight seniors before the contest.

Last time out, Kent State claimed its fifth shutout victory in a 3-0 win over App State. With the victory, the Flashes claimed the MAC Regular Season title as well as earning the No. 1 seed in the MAC Tournament. Maria Cambra Soler scored two goals in the game, followed by Laila Richter pacing the Flashes with five shots.
