Flashes With Work to do After Opening Round at Regionals

FRANKLIN TENN... The Kent State women's golf team wrapped up the opening day of the Franklin Invitational in a tie for tenth, even with Augusta at twelve strokes over par.

The Flashes carded a 300 on the day and sit 13 strokes off the leaders in Duke and Alabama, and 11 strokes out of a top four spot with two rounds left to play.

Kent State was led on Friday by Emily Price and Chloe Salort who finished on and one stroke over par respecively to finish the opener in ties for 11th and 19th.
