KENT, Ohio – Three members of the Kent State gymnastics team have earned spots in the NCAA Regionals. Rachel DeCavitch, Karlie Franz and Alyssa Guns will represent the Golden Flashes at the Norman Regional in Norman, Okla. from Wednesday, March 29 through Saturday, April 1. All three Flashes will compete in Session I on March 30 at 2 p.m.
Franz and Guns will showcase their floor routines at the NCAA Regional and DeCavitch will compete in the all-around. All three gymnasts earned All-Mid-American Conference Second Team honors prior to Saturday's MAC Championships.
