Kent State (6-7, 1-1 MAC) will be among eight teams competing at the 39th annual Virginia Duals inside the Hampton Coliseum Friday and Saturday in Hampton, Virginia. The Golden Flashes will compete in a minimum of three duals, beginning with Old Dominion in the quarterfinals Friday at 11 a.m.
The opener against the Monarchs will serve as an official Mid-American Conference matchup. In their second dual, the Flashes will take on either No. 13 Virginia Tech or Chattanooga. The remainder of the field includes No. 16 Arizona State, No. 20 Lock Haven, Oklahoma and Virginia.
