STILLWATER, Okla.- The No. 16 Kent State women's golf team is tied for seventh place after the second round of play at the NCAA Championships at Karsten Creek Golf Club. The Flashes shot 11-over par in the second round and are at 19-over for the tournament (296-299=595).
Kent State was among the afternoon group that was halted by a nearly 90-minute weather delay that stopped play shortly before 4:30 p.m. Play resumed at 6 p.m. and the Flashes were able to complete their round by early evening.
Pimnipa Panthong led the team in the second round with an even-par score.
