Flashes Tied for Fourth After First Round of NCAA Championship

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.- Caley McGinty and Emily Price both fired an even-par 72 on Friday and the No. 16 Kent State women's golf team is tied for fourth at the NCAA Championship after the opening day at the Grayhawk Golf Club.

The Flashes carded a 292 (+4) score on Friday and are tied with Arizona, Duke, Wake Forest in fourth place, while Stanford sits in third at 291 (+3), Oregon second at 290 (+2), and Texas in first at 289 (+1).

Friday's round was the first of three rounds of stroke play in which all 24 teams will participate.
