Flashes Tie Program Goal Record in Victory

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State women's lacrosse team (2-5) tied the program record with 21 goals as it defeated Presbyterian (1-2) at Dix Stadium on Monday afternoon.

The Golden Flashes used an incredible 15-goal second half to blow out the Blue Hose, 21-12.

"I am thrilled that the way we have been practicing is translating to the games now," said Head Coach Brianne Tierney. "We have struggled to score in the double digits this year, but the flood gates opened today. The team should be proud of themselves, and I am excited to see how we can build on this win.
