YPSILANTI, Mich. – Kent State (31-13, 15-3) completed the Sunday sweep of Eastern Michigan (18-30, 9-9) by taking the finale 2-0.
"It was a good weekend for us," said Head Coach Jeff Duncan. "Eastern Michigan has been playing pretty well. Coming in here, we knew it was going to be a tough challenge. I thought we played really good baseball in all facets, for the most part."
Pitching continued to be prime as Joey Murray went 6.2 innings in the start with five hits, one walk and seven strikeouts, improving to 6-0 on the season.
