KENT, Ohio- The Kent State men's basketball team defeated Bowling Green, 83-69, in its final home game of the regular season Tuesday night at the M.A.C. Center. Prior to the game, seniors Mitch Peterson, Troy Simons, Philip Whittington, Antonio Williams, and CJ Williamson were honored for their time as a Golden Flash.
With the victory, Kent State improves to 19-11 overall and 9-8 in MAC play. The Flashes finished their home schedule with a 13-3 record and all but assured themselves of a first round home game on Monday night with their opponent to be determined.
