The women Flashes (3-14, 0-7 Mid-American Conference) had a small lead at the end of the first quarter, but that did not last long. The Falcons (7-9, 3-4 MAC) came out in the second quarter on fire as they went 5-9 from deep, including three in a row to end the first half.
It was a rough game for the women, especially on the offensive side of the ball. The Flashes tied their season low for points scored in a game with 49, shooting only 26.5 percent from the field and finishing the game with only six assists.
